One of the songs that really influenced me a lot is Glad You Came by the Wanted.
The main theme of this song is to inspire young people and fuel them with enthusiasm. From its lyric:the sun goes down, the stars come out, the stars come out,and all that counts,is here and now. My universe will never be the same, I'm glad you came,we can interpret that this song is trying to show vitality to those who just suffered from pain or who are still in pain. Also, lyrics in the first part implicitly expresses singer's yearning for love.
From my perspective, this is a song that inspires the weak to fight. From the last sentence of the first part lyric: my universe will never be the same, we can gradually realize that its ideological meaning is to spur people to fight for a new and better world.
hey Parker, you're absolutely right. If there's something that this song communicates is vitality. I've never thought of this song as a tribute for youth, but it clearly targets the universe of possibilities that a night can bring you, when you are young.
